Bio

I grew up in Italy, between Novara and Milan, and started taking pictures before photography became frictionless. Film rolls, compact cameras, tiny CCDs, Fuji FinePix cameras, then Sigma with its weird Foveon and full-frame. I liked the technical mess of it: grain, noise, color shifts, blown highlights. Photography was one of my first serious crafts.

I worked on conferences, concerts, city events, nightlife, travel assignments, journalism and commissioned shoots before my main work moved into engineering, infrastructure, consultancy, security, training and authoring.

I’ve visited places across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, usually with a laptop, backpack and camera. The photos here come from walking, working remotely, eating locally, getting lost, meeting people and trying to understand how life works somewhere else.
